Ybalah is an online platform that connects and engages travelers with tour guides who will show you the unique and wonderful things to see and do in your destination. Our website gives you direct access to incredible tours and activities so you can discover and book experiences that meet your personal preferences.
Can I talk directly to the tour guide?
You can communicate with your tour guide through the contact form and email. On the listing page, you can click the Ask a Question button on the right-hand side panel where you can type your queries and concerns. This information will be sent directly to the tour guide and you will receive a reply via the email address that you provide on the form.
Can I be a local tour guide?
Yes, you are more than welcome to join our growing community of tour guides and connect with travelers from different parts of the world. As a tour guide, you can share your passion and knowledge about your locality and provide travelers with memorable experiences.
Do you secure insurance for travellers for outdoor activities?
Ybalah currently does not offer insurance for travelers but you can get it from insurance firms such as World Nomad or any other insurance website.
What is the difference between Ybalah and other platforms?

How do I create an account?
Creating a Ybalah account is free of charge and easy to do. Just follow these simple steps: First: Click on the Sign Up button and enter your email address and chosen password. Second: You will receive an email verification to validate your account. Third: Once validated, you can sign in to your account and begin the search for your desired activity. I forgot my password. How can I access my account?
Yes, you can still access your account. From the Ybalah homepage: Click “Log In” then “Forgot Password”, You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Make sure you remember your new password.

Booking Process

What is the best way to find tours and activities on Ybalah?
You’ll find many great activities to choose from on Ybalah. Here’s a tip to help narrow down your choices: Go to the Ybalah homepage at https://ybalah.com and click destination (choose the place where you want to go from the drop-down menu e.g. Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, etc.). You can also select your desired travel dates on the calendar. For a more advanced search, you can scroll on the filter price that fits your budget (minimum-maximum amount). Then you can also check the tour categories that you find interesting (adventure, cultural, escorted tour, etc.). When you click search, you will see the recommended tours based on your preferences.
How do I check the availability of the tours?
You can check the availability by selecting your desired date but take note that some activities require the confirmation of the local operator. Although the dates may show available, we cannot guarantee availability until you receive a confirmation email. It’s recommended that you book as soon as possible to lock in your target travel dates.
How can I book an activity?
Once you find your preferred activity or tour: Select the package, date, and number of people (adults, children, infants), then click Book Now. This will bring you to the Checkout/Payment page where you need to fill out the required fields. Make sure that you review all the details to avoid the hassle of amending your booking. You can apply a coupon code (if you have any) and then check the box that states that you accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy. Reservation and Payment

Where can I see the total amount of the tour?
The total amount (including tax) of the tour can be seen on the right side of the Checkout page. Ybalah does not charge any handling fee in addition to the amount stated on the Checkout page, however, foreign transaction fees may be imposed by your credit card’s issuing bank if paying foreign currency. You may check with your bank if you have other related questions before proceeding to payment.
How can I pay for the tour?
You can book your tour or activity online using major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and PayPal.
Can I pay in cash?
Since we are an online platform, we do not accept cash payments.
Is the credit card payment process secure?
Yes. The connection between the browser and the server is done via an SSL certificate with 128 bits (end to end) encryption. Ybalah does not store your credit card information.
How do I know if my booking is confirmed?
After making the payment, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your booking and a receipt.
I booked an activity but I did not receive a confirmation email. What should I do?
If you did not receive any confirmation email, please check your spam folder in your email. If it’s not there, check your booking status by logging in to your Ybalah account and going to the “Bookings” page. What is the cancellation policy?
Once your booking is confirmed by your guide, the total cost of your activity is subject to the cancellation terms and conditions of the tour operator agreed upon at the time of booking. We highly recommend that you read the fine print and important information in the listing, the booking page, and your reservation confirmation for policies as applied by the tour operator. Cancellation must be done via your booking conversation page. You can cancel your requested booking before the requested booking is confirmed by your tour operator and any amount collected by Ybalah will be refunded to you within a commercially reasonable time. If the trip is canceled due to bad weather, mechanical problems, and other safety concerns, you will get a refund or your trip will be rescheduled according to the tour operator’s cancellation policies.
